Which decade in music was the best?

I was chatting with a friend today about the different types of music over the decades and was wondering which decade's music do you think was the best???

For me it's the 80's, the tunes were cheesy but they conjour up some great memories for me, first kiss, school discos, first time out clubbing etc

So which decade do you think produced the best tunes?

For me Donna the early 80's - that's when I was a teenager - the music brings back all the memories

my hubby and I often have 'music' nights when we get out the 45's and our old albums and sing (!!) along
